Your Morning
What The Morning Of Your Wedding Will Look Like With Us
Your wedding morning is an exciting time and we’re eager to join you! Expect your artist(s) to arrive a bit early, around 10-15 minutes, to get their work areas ready. As you prepare the room for yourself and your bridal party, remember to consider the space for your vendors. It’s important to have plenty of natural light (we’ll bring extra lighting just to be sure) and seating. Also, think about where your hair stylists will work; they’ll need a power outlet for their equipment.
Your makeup artist will call for someone to take a seat in their chair as soon as they’re set up. Each makeup application will consist of skin prep, and complimentary false lashes for everyone. If your bridal party wants a specific look please let them know they can also save some inspiration photos for us as well! Our artists will leave the lipstick application until the very end when they’re offering touch ups. This allows you and your bridal party to eat/drink for the duration of the morning without having to worry about your lips fading.
Quick Tips;
- have your dresses steamed the night before, or at the very least steam them BEFORE hair/makeup
- have someone in the makeup chair at all times, this will allow for everyone to remain on the same timeline!
- remove all previous makeup from the night before and ensure you have freshly washed skin (avoid oils)
Once everyone in your bridal party has their makeup complete we will start touch ups and lip applications! At this stage of your morning you will likely be getting ready to put on your dress, and our goal is to be completely out of your way so you can shine for your wedding photographer! If you plan on having getting ready photos taken, most of these will be staged at this time.
Each wedding morning can be a little bit different from the next, but they’re always so exciting! Our collective goal is to take a little stress away from your planning by giving you a few moments where you can relax and enjoy the company of your loved ones.
