Bridal Trials
You Just Booked Your Bridal Trial, Now What?
When I chat with my brides to prep them for their bridal trials I always like to suggest that they come with a clean, makeup free face! Please don’t wax, or shave your face the night before (your makeup will not apply evenly to your skin). We will go over your inspiration and determine which direction you want to go with your makeup! This is the perfect time to get out those saved inspiration photos that have been taking up all that space in your camera roll.
Bridal trials allow us to get to know each other and establish your most preferred makeup look that you wish to have on your wedding day. I’ll ask you to take mental notes through out the day while you’re wearing your makeup and if you change your mind about something we can make the necessary changes together.
Bridal Trials That Set You Up For Success
These next steps aren’t mandatory but they can definitely enhance your trial experience for the better;
Come with your hair done! A lot of our brides will show up with their hair in a similar style that they plan to wear on their wedding day. Bonus points if you can schedule your hair trial on the same day.
Wear a top that’s a similar colour to your wedding dress.
Wear your jewelry that you plan on wearing on your wedding day, or something very similar!
If you groom your brows I suggest having them groomed the way you like about 1-2 weeks before your bridal makeup trial. The closer you can create your wedding day makeup look the better!
At the end of your bridal trial we will confirm timelines and the address of which you’ll be getting ready at. Once your trial is over please try and wear your makeup for as long as you can! This is the perfect excuse for a date night.
