None of us ever really wear make up, and Mel made us feel absolutely beautiful while still feeling like ourselves. She was the perfect addition to our small party on the day of the wedding, and finished ahead of schedule! I was so relaxed on the morning of the wedding and Mel played a huge role in that. Mel did both my bridal trial and wedding day make-up; she also did the make-up of my bridal party (6). Not only was I extremely happy with my make-up, but my girls absolutely adored theirs. I loved my makeup at the trial, and when I shared a few small pieces of feedback afterward, she was so receptive and thoughtful. On the day of the wedding, she *nailed* my makeup. It was like she could see the vision in my head and bring it to life even better than I imagined. I could not believe how perfect it turned out.

My bridesmaids were obsessed with their looks as well—one of them has been in five weddings and said this was her favorite makeup look by far. Even my photographer asked who my makeup artist was because everything translated so beautifully in the photos.

This review is months overdue (life got in the way and then I forgot...) I had booked Mel and she was AMAZING. Initially she was booked the day I needed her but she managed to squeeze me in. I am terrible with makeup which means I never know what to tell makeup artists when it comes to the look I want. I was able to briefly explain the look I was going for and she worked her magic! Mel was absolutely amazing to work with. She is very kind and easy to talk to. She was able to make me and all of my bridesmaids look beautiful even though we all have very different complexions, hair and skin tones! Everyone was so happy with her services. What a great pleasure it was to work with Mel for my wedding! She was kind, patient and paid attention to my skin tone and gave recommendations for skincare as well. She made myself, and my bridesmaid look stunning! Our makeup stayed for the whole day and because I have a South Asian skin tone, she paid attention to the colors she used and mixed all eye color, lips and base exactly to match me. She was punctual and made sure we all looked great and were on time!
She is a true artist. She even provided touch up lip color for my wedding day that was specifically mixed for me. Really useful and extremely important to me. I would recommend her for any photoshoot, birthdays, weddings and events.
