I’m Mel, owner/lead makeup artist here at Top Knots & Gloss Artistry based out of London Ontario. If you’ve ever sent us an email or Instagram message I’m the one you’ve been talking to (yes, I’m the one who sends all the emojis).

I coordinate all of the administrative work behind the scenes and have been specializing in bridal and special event artistry for over a decade now.  

When I’m not on location for a wedding you can usually find me in studio; completing bridal trials, individual applications, or personalized lessons completely curated to our clients individual needs.

Before creating Top Knots & Gloss Artistry I was working with some of the top brands in the beauty industry, with a background in skincare and education. My love for bridal and special events far exceeded my love for being a brand ambassador, however the experience with these brands has allowed me to grow and expand my skills in the best way possible! I’m confident in safe hygiene practices, trending application techniques, and identifying individual skin types to determine the use of appropriate products.

At TKG, it’s all about sultry, long lasting natural/soft glam — cowboy boots optional.
